Sewists and make noise crew

When the pandemic first started we were all scared, trying our best to get through with the PPE we could get while continuing to work . The make noise crew went out everyday to let us know we were appreciated and that they had our backs. They valued us. On those dark days when we felt alone tired and scared they lifted our spirits. Now one of the members has partnered with McKesson and continues to show their support for the frontline workers.

The sewists used their own materials and time to make sure we were protected when PPE was in short supply. They collectively sewed thousands of masks to protect us. No-one asked any of these groups to do this. They truly showed the strength and spirit of community caring. I will always be grateful for these groups
