Division Street reconstruction

Division Street in downtown Trenton will undergo significant construction beginning in the spring until late 2026.

About the project

This project includes:

• Road reconstruction, including active transportation and pedestrian infrastructure, new driving lane configurations and new pedestrian crossovers
• Underground sanitary sewer, storm sewer and water main replacements
• Updating utility/street lighting layouts and landscaping
• Reconfiguration of Market Square

Project area

Division Street construction will begin at Dundas Street West until approximately Metcalfe Street, including the intersection that connects Division Street and Front Street to the DJ MacDonald Bridge.
