The City of Quinte West is updating its Multi-Year Accessibility Plan, and we want to hear from anyone who lives, visits or works in Quinte West on how we can work towards creating a more accessible community.

What is a Multi-Year Accessibility Plan?

The Quinte West Municipal Accessibility Plan (QWMAP) is a guide for how the City of Quinte West will make its programs, services, buildings and spaces easier for everyone to use.

The plan:

  • Reviews what’s already accessible and what needs improvement

  • Identifies goals and actions the City will take to reduce barriers

  • Is guided by community needs and feedback

Each municipality is required to have a plan under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) and its Integrated Accessibility Standards Regulation (IASR).

Provide your input

Input from local residents, businesses and organizations is key to ensuring the plan meets the needs of our community.

Complete the short survey below to provide more information on your experiences and/or suggestions to build a barrier-free community. Surveys are also available at:

  • Quinte West City Hall (7 Creswell Dr., Trenton)

  • Frankford Municipal Office (22 N Trent St., Frankford)

Complete the survey by Nov. 7, 2025.

Your feedback will help guide the draft plan, which will be shared for committee and Council review late fall 2025 into early 2026.
