At the Quinte West Council meeting on Wednesday, May 15, Council reviewed and approved a report summarizing the community's feedback and proposed improvements to the courts.

The project will move forward with a new multi-surface court and expanded footprint to include a dedicated basketball court, a pickleball court and a tennis court. The project design and construction is scheduled for summer to fall of 2024, with an expected completion date of late fall.

What’s next for parks and recreation in Quinte West?

The City of Quinte West is creating a new Parks and Recreation Master Plan to guide investment in parks, open spaces and recreation facilities. The Plan will consider current and future needs as well as community feedback to make a plan for the future of indoor and outdoor recreation facilities, parks and open spaces.
