Don’t be sad The Easter Bunny is here!

Community hero’s are all different and no matter what they do they matter and are appreciated! I’d like to take this time to say thank you and show appreciation to the hero close to my heart! My husband Jon Porter a quite guy who works hard as an Airplane Mechanic Instructor in The Royal Canadian Air Force. He’s been going above and beyond for to help make sure we are all being taken care of. Just before Easter Weekend we came across an old Easter Bunny Costume. I was ecstatic and relieved, knowing that with the pandemic and physical distancing we would not be able to take our boys to our annual Easter Bunny visit and picture at the mall. Now we could at least do an at home photo shoot! Seeing the joy putting on the costume brought to our boys, my husband immediately said other kids deserve this joy too! He spent Easter weekend, 3 whole long days walking neighborhoods , making personal stops to requested homes of Children so thrilled
and happy to see THE EASTER BUNNY!! He walked, hopped and waived for hours to kids who smiled back at him from their porches, windows or driving by cars. The joy he brought warmed my heart and the hearts of lots of children and adults combined over the Easter Weekend! I’m super proud of him!
