Super Neighbour
by Cinnamon , over 4 years agoI would like to take this opportunity to recognize our super neighbour, Melissa Scime, who went out of her way to help during our quarantine, after our arrival from the deep south.
She not only, went grocery shopping for us, she picked up a birthday cake for our disabled son, and then went back to town to pick up pizza for his birthday.

A Sweet Surpise
by Mellisa, over 4 years agoI was so thrilled to receive a tim Hortons gift card on my way to work the other day! After doing some digging I found out the card was from Ashley Greer. Through her small business (The Robyn’s Nest) she organized a fundraiser for random acts of kindness to all front line workers. She contacted me recently about who to go to for some hand sewn masks. All us front line workers are so appreciative of the support and those that go above and beyond for us

Always Working
by Bob, over 4 years agoWhen I think of a Community Hero during the Covid 19 Pandemic, one person comes to mind, well actually two; Jim and Jane Harrison.
Whether it is the flooding issue, or Covid 19 or whatever is bothering or effecting our community we have always had the best representation in Jim Harrison. If not for his tireless efforts we would not be the community we are today.
