kayla asked over 4 years agoThe majority of work will be on City property and within the City road allowance, however there are instances where we will need to work on private property such as to tie into private residential water and sewer services at the property line or to regrade a lawn to match our proposed works. Prior to any work happening on a resident’s property, the contractor or a city representative will be in contact with you to explain everything. If there are any damages to your property, these will be corrected.

Share Are you doing anything with Victoria Ave between King St and Dundas St? The only reason I ask is that the road and sidewalk are in severe disrepair and there are large dips in the road that collect water. There is also no drainage in this section causing the water to drain on to people's property and wash out the curb and sidewalk. The sidewalk is very uneven in this section as well causing people to trip year round. I have noticed people walking on the road to avoid this hazard. on Facebook Share Are you doing anything with Victoria Ave between King St and Dundas St? Jasonbrnm asked over 4 years agoNo work is currently planned for this section of Victoria Avenue this year. We are aware that the road and sidewalks and watermain in this area are in need of replacement, however as you may appreciate it is impossible to fund every project. The rehabilitation of this section of street will be part of future capital budget deliberations.
